Dr. Obi Taiwan is a senior technology and strategic leader with over 25 years of global experience at the intersection of technology, public policy, and business innovation. He currently serves as Principal at TPG Consulting, also serving as Diplomatic and Technology Advisor at Storehouse Gold. Dr. Obi Taiwan brings a distinguished track record in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and global health systems—spanning government, healthcare, and private sector landscapes. Most recently, he served as Senior Special Adviser for Technology and Healthcare at the United Nations (2019–2023), where he led large-scale digital transformation initiatives in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Colombia, Rwanda, and DR Congo. He formerly served as Deputy Advisor on Technology to U.S. Presidents George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, offering strategic counsel during pivotal years of technological advancement. Obi Taiwan has held C-level executive roles—including CIO and CTO—at Aetna, WellPoint/Anthem BCBS, Siemens GmbH, DaVincian Healthcare, and MEDSiS, overseeing ICT operations for hospitals, governments, and regulatory agencies. Obi Taiwan has also served as a Council Member of the International Workforce Development Foundation, where he promoted innovation in digital upskilling and workforce strategy. A retired Air Force pilot and passionate aviator, he holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems (NYU Stearns), an LL.M. in Aviation Law (Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, UK), and a B.Sc. in Aviation Technology (Nigeria Defence Academy).
